The children (and adults) enjoyed sharing their props from favourite books, we had some great contributions. The needle, thread and piece of fabric was a lovely idea from The Elves and the Shoemaker; a branch from Jack and the Beanstalk and an array of lovely animals and other interesting props from a wealth of stories. It was very exciting trying to detect which story the props came from and the children came up with good questions. The teachers swapped classes to read stories to different year groups which was good fun for everyone!
