This year 4K has had the fantastic opportunity to participate in the Buckinghamshire School Linking Network, a programme that brings together classes from different primary schools. Throughout the year, we have been linked to Class 4 at Curzon CE Combined School. We met for the first time in January at the Royal Grammar School; they visited us at Highworth in March and on Thursday 14th June we were thrilled to visit them at their school in Penn. When we visited, we worked collaboratively to finish an art project we begun when they visited us at Highworth and also took part in some Forest School activities. The children showed excellent communication and team work skills while having great fun building shelters and creating art sculptures in the woods! The children have really enjoyed the opportunity to meet and build new friendships with other children. Thank you to them for being fabulously behaved and for participating in the project so enthusiastically. Their artwork will be displayed in the entrance foyer by the office so keep an eye out!
